Proofload is an Australian specialist in the inspection, sale, and servicing of lifting, rigging, and height safety equipment. Their team carries out inspections and certification for industrial customers alongside equipment supply and servicing.
Proofload moved its inspection reporting onto Core and was fully up and running within six months.
Before Core

Producing inspection reports relied on manual steps that didn't scale with the workload. Every report passed through someone's hands before it could go out, so getting them to clients on time was a constant pressure, and the time spent on report admin was time not spent on inspection and servicing work.
What runs on Core
Proofload replaced manual report production with Core, moving inspection capture and reporting onto one platform:

The results

DNV-ST-E271 load tests on Core
Proofload load tests offshore container lifting sets to DNV-ST-E271, the standard still known as DNV 2.7-1. The load test certificate for that work is produced in Core, and DNV reviewed the certificate and accepted it for load tests under the standard.
Each certificate carries the fields the test has to prove, drawn from the equipment record and the inspection rather than retyped:
- Test procedure and acceptance criteria: AS 1666.2 Section 10 and DNV-ST-E271 Section 9.3
- Test bed and load cell identification
- DNV type approval reference
- Load applied to each leg in kilonewtons, and the grade of the master links and shackles
- Asset specification: type, WLL, rope size, construction, lay, grade, finish, terminations
- Result, technician, authorised signatory and date of issue
